Legacy Parks officially opened the adaptive, all-access dock on Beaver Creek behind Powell High School. This permanent boat launch will allow public non-motorized access to the creek for paddling recreation. Beaver Creek spans nearly the entirety of Knox County – flowing 44-miles and connecting Halls to Powell and continuing to Solway. This project accomplishes two important initiatives – creating more access to Beaver Creek and creating access to recreation for all users, including those with disabilities.
