The Legacy Luncheon for the Parks is set for Friday, September 25 at the beautiful Johnson University in south Knox County. CBS Sunday Morning correspondent and New York Times bestselling author, Conor Knighton will be the featured guest speaker. Knighton will share witty insights from his yearlong journey visiting every U.S. national park, weaving together lesser-known stories from the parks’ history with thoughtful reflections on their future and preservation.
The Legacy Luncheon for the Parks draws 1,000 civic, business, and community leaders for a picnic-style luncheon in a beautiful outdoor setting to celebrate Legacy Parks successful projects over the last year and unveil new initiatives.
