Knox County has started construction on Cruze Landing to add a new adaptive floating dock, new ramp for motorized boats and a non-motorized ramp.
Cruze Landing is an integral public access point to the French Broad River, approximately two miles downriver from Seven Islands State Birding Park. In 2020, Legacy Parks acquired the property to stabilize the deteriorating ramp and create the opportunity to improve access to the river. Utilizing funding from TWRA, the improvements should be completed by late summer!
