Famed as a world-class whitewater river, this class I-IV free-flowing river runs through the stunning cliff-lined gorge of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area; native channel and blue catfish can be found in the pools of the larger waters, as well as in the channels of the main river; multi-use trails run along the ridge of the park, showcasing panoramic views of the river below.
