Cutting through 11 Tennessee counties, the Justin P. Wilson Cumberland Trail State Park follows a line of pristine high ridges and deep gorges from Cumberland Gap, on the Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky border to the Tennessee River Gorge, on the Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia border. The Cumberland Trail is still under construction but will extend over 330 miles when complete. Of the proposed 330+ miles of trail, approximately 185 miles and 40 trailheads are open for public use.
