Last night, the Captain Bill Robinson Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America made a $10,000 donation to the French Broad Veterans Memorial Park project. This donation will go towards the construction cost of the project, which lies along the French Broad River with views of the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. The French Broad Veterans Memorial Park will be a place for community events, family gatherings, special celebrations and private reflection to honor our East Tennessee veterans.
