The Siddiqi Foundation continues to show continued support for Legacy Parks Foundation’s projects through a $15,000 grant to construct Knoxville’s first all-inclusive trail on Legacy Parks’ 42-acres at Sharp’s Ridge. This trail will accommodate users of all types, including those with disabilities. The grant will also fund four all-terrain wheelchairs that will be available to rent from a local bike shop.
The addition of an all-inclusive trail is important because everyone should be able to play in the woods! This trail will also connect into the existing trail system at Sharp’s Ridge and will connect the neighborhoods on the north side of the ridge into the existing city park.
