Aubrey’s Restaurants and Eagle Distributing Launch Hoppy Trails Program

Aubrey’s Restaurants and Eagle Distributing donated $10,000 to Legacy Parks Foundation and launched the “Hoppy Trails” program at seven of the Aubrey’s independent restaurants including Barley’s, The Crown & Goose, Fieldhouse Social, Stefanos Pizza, and Sunspot.

Hoppy Trails is a “Buy a Beer, Build a Trail” program in which participating restaurants donate $10.00 to Legacy Parks from each Hoppy Trails designated keg of beer purchased for the sole purpose of adding one-mile of trail within the Knoxville community.

This first $10,000 donation will be used towards the first “water trail” in Powell and will fund the cleanup, continued maintenance, and funding for additional non-motorized, public access put-ins along Beaver Creek.

“Aubrey’s is very proud to support Legacy Parks Foundation,” said Randy Burleson, owner of the Aubrey’s Restaurants. “Carol and her team have done an amazing job breathing new life into neighborhoods with trail projects like these. The Powell community has been very good to us over the years, and we’re very proud to be associated with the work Legacy Parks is doing here.”
