French Memorial Park Expansion
Legacy Parks helped connect a south Knoxville neighborhood to the French Memorial Park and Knox County Library by securing a donation of 9-acres of land connecting the neighborhood and park. This connection expands access to the park for the community and provides an opportunity for walkability to a park that was previously not accessible.
Legacy Parks works to connect communities to the outdoors, to improve well-being and to encourage everyone to spend time outside.
The French Memorial Park is a big, bright playground with lots of slides, an exercise yard, two soccer fields, a pavilion and nature trails making it a great place to play.
