We are creating the fun and whimsical Angora Frog Farm park in Powell and sponsorships are selling quickly. Each play feature will tie into the whimsical story of Arvin the Frog and his adventures visiting the park. Visitors will read from storybook panels and participate in an activity utilizing the play features.

We kicked off fundraising in April with a $20,000 grant from the American Rental Association of America and Toro to fund the walking path AND a matching grant from FirstBank to fund the storybook panels throughout the park!

Special thanks to these sponsors that have committed to a play feature:

East Tennessee Pediatric Dentistry: Dr. Jessica Phillips chose to sponsor the play feature for the frog named Eula May. Just so happens that was her great aunt’s name too! It was meant to be!

Mynatt Funeral Home: Mynatt just opened the new funeral home in Powell and is sponsoring the music feature in memory of Ronald Hill (Angie Hill’s dad) who loved southern gospel music.

The Bailey Group:  Laura Bailey sells houses – and she’s providing one for Arvin the Frog by sponsoring the house feature.

DeRoyal: DeRoyal is sponsoring a play feature in celebration of their 50th anniversary!
