Legacy Parks Foundation was awarded a $4,000 grant from the Barge Design Solutions Community Fund to help fund the development of the Natural Playspace at Sharp’s Ridge. The Playspace will provide an innovative, safe environment that encourages physical activity with a variety of fun and challenging features in a natural setting.
The Playspace will be one of the beneficial elements included in the overall design for the 42-acres of forested land was donated to Legacy Parks by the Dick Broadcasting family in 2017. The property connects to the existing Sharp’s Ridge city park.
