Adventurer & Author Cheryl StrayedJoin us October 14th for the 2022 Legacy Luncheon for the Parks to hear author Cheryl Strayed share her adventures from hiking the Pacific Coast Trail as we overlook the beautiful Holston River from the spectacular Strong Stock Farm.

After a 1,000-mile trek on the Pacific Crest Trail, Cheryl Strayed has a story to tell! She is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling memoir Wild, which tells her own tale of loss and recovery with grit and humor. The Oscar-nominated movie adaptation of Wild stars Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern.

Cheryl has also authored New York Times bestsellers Tiny Beautiful Things and Brave Enough, and the novel Torch. Strayed’s books have been translated into nearly forty languages around the world and have been adapted for both the screen and the stage.
