Monarchs and other Butterflies at Seven Islands SBP

Join us on a 3-mile guided hike through butterfly habitat to learn how to identify butterflies by their colors, patterns, behaviors, and other characteristics while exploring the fields and trails in search of a variety of species. If monarchs are present, participants will also have the opportunity to learn about their incredible migration and assist with tagging monarchs as part of a larger effort to better understand their journey. While monarch sightings and tagging opportunities cannot be guaranteed, there will be plenty to discover as we explore the butterflies and other pollinators that call the park home. Butterfly nets provided. Cost $8. Register online.
