Red Mill Dam

Legacy Parks facilitated the purchase of  the historic Red Mill Dam property and conveyance of the land to the Town of Farragut. A private donation made the purchase possible. The property is deed restricted for park use, assuring that the property will alway be used as the donor intended. The 6.43-acre property sits on the west side of Concord Road., Turkey Creek runs through the property, and was dammed to make a forebay, which is a reservoir from which water is taken to run equipment like a water wheel.
