Legacy Parks Foundation, an East Tennessee non-profit organization, works to ensure that our community enjoys exceptional recreational opportunities, natural beauty and open spaces, and that those assets exist for generations to come. We work collaboratively to preserve our area’s extraordinary natural resources, and to expand parks, trails, and greenways.
Show your support of parks, trails, greenways and all of our great places to play by becoming a Friend of the Parks. Your membership helps create recreational opportunities, improve parks, connect greenways and preserve land and open space.
The luncheon celebrates the importance of parks and recreational opportunities to the health and vitality of our community and the work of Legacy Parks Foundation in expanding and maintaining these invaluable assets. Set in the midst of one of Knoxville’s beautiful parks, the picnic-style luncheon is attended by a crowd of 600 business and community leaders anxious to celebrate and hear the announcement of new, key initiatives.
